I obtained my PhD in Petroleum Geology and Organic Geochemistry from the University of New South Wales, UNSW/Australia in 2004. As PhD student taught a petroleum geology master degree course at UNSW, and received three awards (two from USA and one from Australia). I was a visiting researcher at UNS W and worked for BHP Billiton in Australia. Before joining Soran University in late 2009 as Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, I held various positions at the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation Office in Australia including the position of Academic Relations Representative. Currently, I am a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Earth Sciences and Petroleum, College of Science, Salahuddin University-Erbil.
